175th Anniversary - 2026
August 1851, St. James Lutheran Church and School were established in Quincy, Illinois.
2026 is our 175th year of ministry in Quincy (with August marking our anniversary weekend). We will be celebrating in wonderful ways throughout the year.
Monthly 175 Events:
March 7 - 5pm - Chili Cook Off and Organization Fair. If you would like to enter a chili into the competition, please register here by March 3.
March 21 - 6pm - St. James Lutheran School Spring Fling. Purchase tickets here.
April 18 - Trivia Night and Dinner at St. James
May 1 & 2 - Dogwood Festival Block Party and Parade
June 20 - Family Kickball and Outdoor Game Tournament
July 11 - Family Outdoor Movie
August 7-9 - Anniversary Banquet and Divine Service
